About the event
Anna has talked a lot about Mussar, and it is the foundation of the concept of Nefesh Leeds. But what actually is it? The hardest part is trying to explain Mussar, and so we are delighted that Dr Alan Morinis, Founder of The Mussar Institute, and author of Everyday Holiness, is coming up to Leeds as part of his UK tour.
"What is Mussar and why should I care?" will explore general themes and insights, suitable for those totally new to Mussar, as well as those who have already experienced its power and inspiration.
Alan will invite you into the world of Mussar, inviting self exploration and soul development through Jewish sources, and you will understand more about the Nefesh Leeds, too!
No prior knowledge of Mussar, Hebrew, or Jewish knowledge is required.
